El Mexicano The Schofield Gymnasium James F. Byrnes High School prides itself on outstanding athletic and arts facilities. The Schofield Gym at Byrnes HS is the best facility in the area, and the second best facility utilized in CIPA (Championships at Western Carolina is the only better gym). Two levels of seating for up to 3000 ensure your performance will be accurately evaluated both from the Individual Achievement captions (Movement and Equipment) and the awesome second level vantage point will bring out the Ensemble Achievement captions (General Effect and Ensemble). The lighting is neutral, with a mostly gray background - nearly every show will look great. The basketball court is completely covered by gray tarps in order to protect the court and to make your show look better - do not worry about a basketball court sticking out beyond the edge of your floor. Admission Ticket prices are consistent with CIPA competition protocol. Tickets are $5, and children under 5 are free.
Concessions When we have a better idea of what concessions will be offered and their prices, we will post a list. We typically offer several sandwich options (Chick-Fil-A, Subway, hamburgers), chips, candy/sweets, and several drink offerings.
