JV Winter Guard Byrnes Guard's JV Winter Guard competes in the Scholastic A Class in the Carolina Indoor Performance Association and Winter Guard International events. JV has been a medalist several times in the circuit, recently winning the 2011 Scholastic A Circuit Championship, as well as consistently making WGI Regional Finals events. In 2012, Byrnes JV will be traveling to compete at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH. Members of JV will continue to develop intermediate skills in movement, flag and rifle - increasing individual skills and performance levels, concentrating on solo moments and increased difficulty. Team building and movement training are a big focus of this guard. JV typically performs beautifully constructed shows with varied types of music - from John Lennon to OneRepublic to The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. JV is always beautiful and entertaining - rock stars in training! Congratulations to our 2012 Cast!
